Seriously, this robot steps clearly from the realm of amusing and awkward to amazingly adept and creepy. Watch as it is kicked and regains the ability to stand upright! Watch as it slips on patch of ice, and manages to find its footing! Watch as it hops about and clears an obstacle in a single bound! Watch as its back-mounted guns cut down a throng of protesters!
(Ok, so that last one didn't happen. yet.)
So, I'm going to have nightmares now about that thing. Thanks!
I saw that the other day on Gizmodo. I'm going to be freaked if I'm every out hiking in the woods and hear the sound of gas powered motor and the clacking of metal feet.
The machine recovering from a kick was amazing and scary all at the same time.
I think the four horsemen of apocalypse are going to have to be re-fashioned for more modern interpretations ... and I think this is one of them!
I'm reminded of something from half-life plus, I don't know... the hooves of Satan?
