Link Roundup – 03/31/08

In the home stretch at school, but I'm a sicko right now (I blame Sarah). Last night I had a feverish dream, not of revenge and doubt as the Tragically Hip recount, but of maps and gridlines and who knows what else. Feverish dreams are the worst. They are hard work. As Mitch Hedberg said,

"I hate dreaming. Because when you sleep, you wanna sleep. Dreaming is work, you know - there I am in a comfortable bed, the next thing you know I have to build a go-kart with my ex-landlord. I want a dream of me watching myself sleep."

Anyway, linkdump time:

  • Stuff White People Like. You might think that this kind of racial stereotyping is wrong, etc. But, then, you see the truth in it, and it is funny. (See #81: Graduate School)
  • Muxtape. = Internet Mixtape. Travelling fast and furious around the internet right now, so you may have heard about it already. Popular because it's a good idea.
  • Remember Mad Magazine's Fold-Ins? Amazing that Al Jaffee, at 84, is still making them.
  • Awful Plastic Surgery. and/or Celebrity Cosmetic Surgery. Like driving by a car crash. Disturbing, guilt-inducing, and hard to look away from. Also: makes you feel better about not looking like a celebrity. Guess what? They all do it.
