Totally Wired.
I am white, and I have a confession to make. I love 'The Wire'.
I've watched season 1, which was hella good. Full of foul language, sex, incredible amounts of death and violence (incredible not to be construed as good here), cops and robbers (with many of the cops as corrupt as the robbers, as you would expect. This ain't no Law and Order, people). Great actors, most of which you've never heard of, though you might recognize a few. Highly recommended.
Season 2, which I am half-way through, isn't as good as the first, mostly because everything is stretched too thin, there isn't enough time to follow the cops and robbers stuff you care about, the actual wire, the investigation. Still, it's damn addictive television.
Anyway, I'll shut up now. You watch it, then we can geek out together.
